| Introduction | The JCEP was formed to provide a voice for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) and LGBT-supportive community within Johnson County. Our mission is to promote understand and acceptance of LGBT people through education and advocacy. Our current objective is to encourage local school districts to take the Wichita School District's example and add sexual orientation (and hopefully gender identity) to their non-discrimination policies. |
