| Introduction | My name is Christina Saucedo-Mikes. I am 40-years-old with one child and another baby on the way.I have been married for over 6 years now. My husband and I have a 4 nd a half year-old son. I have lived in San Antonio my entire life and I love it here. I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources in August 2008. I am the first in my family to graduate college and I am very proud of that accomplishment. I recently underwent a life-changing surgery that I felt was necessary...gastric bypass surgery (March 23, 2009). I decided to have the surgery because I was clinically obese and had two chronic conditions that I tried my best to control: diabetes and hypertension. I chose to keep a blog to show others about the struggles and triumphs of my journey. |
