| Introduction | I am second child of my parents. My father was an advocate, later became Member of parliament in upper house Rajya Sabha. My mother worked as professor of Urdu (language & and iterature), at Bangalore in Mahranis Government College for 24 years. Then she joined the Department of Post Graduation and Research studies, Mysore University at Mysore, from November 1960. My elder brother, (18 years older than me), Late Mohammed Munaverulla Turabi, was an electrical Engineer, Retired as Member Secretary, Govt of India, from Bangalore. Younger sister Dr Nasreen Shahina, is a doctor general physician, recently retired. My husband Rasheed Ali, has retired as Professor of Urdu from Maharajas College Mysore. We have four children, Nusheen Farhana Hafeez (D), Aslam Parviz (son), Shabeer Alam, (son), and Shehla Ambereen Syed (D). I have four grand children and Four great grand children too. |
| Interests | Stamp Collection, and light reading.(In English or Urdu). I write articles in Urdu. Rarely in English, and short stories with a pen name "Nayela sameen" in Urdu. |
