| Introduction | I'm an average Joe, living in an average town, working an average job, and dealing with some not so average issues. As a dedicated member of the Mormon faith who is also gay, choosing to remain faithful to God and His commandments often presents me with some unique challenges. But I'm truly blessed to have them, as so much of my personal and spiritual growth can be traced back to the trials I've faced as a homosexual. I didn't choose to be attracted to my same gender, but I made the choice not to let it define who I am. I am far more than my sexual orientation; I am the child of a loving God with all the potential that implies. It is in Him that I place all my trust, love and loyalty. |
