Introduction	After 30 years in journalism, covering just about every beat in the newsroom, I jumped at the opportunity to create multimedia reports for Kansas.com. Like many others in the industry I'm DIY. I have benefited immensely from others who blog as they learn. I've found many come from a photo/visual background.
