| Introduction | I was born in Malaysia, moved to Korea, then New Jersey, then Massachusetts. I studied engineering (BS) and education (MA) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and now am back in Massachusetts working as a boarding school teacher and coach. I became Muslim in 2001, and since then I've felt as if I am a traveler in this world, trying to make the most of my visit yet aware that it's only temporary. I've been blessed with a supportive family and network of friends all over the world. I don't deserve what I have but am grateful and thankful to God for it. |
