| Introduction | I am a stay at home mom to 6 beautiful daughters who make life interesting, spontaneous, and often chaotic. Home with them is exactly where I want to be. I love the outdoors and do my best to make my family's enviormental footprint small.I spend way too much time researching the latest and greatest woven wraps,cloth dipes,and double prams.Once upon a time I squandered a scholarship for creative writing and I hope to re-ignight that passion by sharing my latest works on this blog. I grew up like your average american girl. Loving New Kids On The Block, slouch socks, and ET's "phone home", but whenever people see me they whisper and stare and the brave ones ask "What country are you from?" To their amazment I am able to reply "born and raised in the USA!" I grew up christian and found the answers and clarity that I had been searching for in Islam. I'm a mom, a wife, a daughter, and friend. I'm your not so average Muslim next door. |
