Introduction Born in the '60s when liberal was new and cool, raised in the '80s when conservatism was hip, reverted to childlike state in the early '90s, got my bearings in the new millennium after the birth of my first child and, later, 9/11. I'm over 40 and I've turned parenting into an extreme sport. I read, I write, I remark, and then do it all over again ad nauseum. My mind is usually in overdrive long after my body has hit the bed, and the older I get the more firmly I believe Jesus was who he said he was and that God really does drive the boat. I am nothing without Him and with Him all things are possible.
