| Introduction | I am not your average girl. I grew up playing sports, acting, rock climbing and shooting archery. Not quite the normal activities one would see meshed together. I also delved into art for a while along with dance. But, as fate would have it, I was not meant to be a dancer. I did, however, learn that I love to volunteer. I have volunteered for many charities and even went on a volunteer spring break trip with my school while all my friends went to lay on sunny beaches. It was volunteering that led me to one of my great loves: travel. I went on a student volunteer trip to Thailand (my first international trip) and had the time of my life. Seeing another world and culture inspired me to want to see everything this world has to offer. It was with that notion that I packed up my bags upon graduating from university and headed to Scotland for a year to get my masters degree. My fiance, Jon, is not too thrilled about this, but he's dealing. When my time is up here in Edinburgh I will move back to the States and take up full-time residency in Williamsburg, VA. Until then, however, I am going to have the time of my life! |
