Introduction	Welcome! Thank you for visiting today. I have been gardening for over 40 years more than 20 of which includes professional greenhouse and horticulture nursery work. I write based on my gardening experiences which have formed the opinions that I share with you here. Interests	I currently live and garden on beautiful Fidalgo Island, in the north Puget Sound region of Washington State, USA; USDA zone 8-9. Previously I lived in the south Puget sound so older posts will reflect a zone 7-8 climate and a different garden. My writings are based on my own gardening experiences of 40+ years. I love to visit botanical gardens and attend local garden tours. I have worked in plant nurseries and a municipal greenhouse operation where we grew for the city’s parks and gardens. I am also a state certified beekeeper at the apprentice and journeyman levels. Read at your own risk… gardening and bees are addicting.
