Introduction	I'm Poppy, a stay at home Mum to our gorgeous boy Leo born August 2009 and a housewife of sorts to my wonderful husband Darren. I love being a Mum and am really enjoying being at home with my little boy. We believe in and practise natural birth, breastfeeding, co sleeping, baby wearing, cloth nappying, part time EC (Elimination Communication) & gentle discipline. We don't vaccinate, we are vegetarian and we try to eat organic and unprocessed food where possible. I love gardening and cooking and would like to try to get some of my cooking creations down on 'paper' with measurements and timing. I tend to cook as I go and I would like to produce a more structured list of recipes rather than just having them in my head. This blog is a record of our day to day life, achievements, trials and tribulations and will hopefully feature some recipes if I can get them written down. The name of the blog 'In the Moment' was chosen to inspire and remind me to truly live in the moment, appreciating and savouring it rather than worrying about the next thing to come or what has just happened.
