| Introduction | A social worker for the past 13 years, I received my education and training from the University of Maryland, Howard University, The Mayo Clinic and Yale University. I welcome new, cutting-edge, nontraditional, effective ways of working with young people and positively influencing their lives. This blog, developed to highlight my work with teens, parents, and the programs of Achievement Services provides an opportunity for me to dialogue about my work. I hope all who visit this blog will gain a better understanding of the work I do and those I service. I hope parents will view this site as a place to gain increased understanding and better knowlegdge of the adolescent population. I enjoy working with children, teens, and parents and welcome all comments and responses.
