Introduction | I am a food writer who loves to eat. I love to cook, and I love to share, but the result has been, I've steadily gained weight, year after year, until I know that I have to stop. So I've found a way to live and love what I eat without continuing the upward climb. My big discovery is that a high fat diet with few carbs made up of real food, no fakey icky stuff with long lists of chemicals, but real, satisfying food. Julia Child was right. Eat butter. Use real cream. Enjoy a steak. Try some foie gras. Its good for you. I didn't come to this discovery by myself. I met Dr. John Salerno, a NYC diet doc and he changed my life. And he can change yours too. I'll tell you the secret. I've been able to normalize my weight, gain energy and confidence, and I'll show you how to do it too. |
Interests | Besides cooking and feeding people, I like to garden. I am an ardent yellow dog democrat, I love the theatre, jazz, and my everloving dogs. OK, I like the cats and the fish too, but not so much as the dogs. |
Favorite Movies | all the romantic stuff. the doomed love stories. Out of Africa. English Patient. that sort of three kleenex movie |
