Introduction I graduated with a useful degree in mathematics and film studies. I worked briefly in publishing before starting my real job as a mother (now with five kids!) and a general jack-of-all-trades. I am nourished by my husband who supports my sewing habits as well as my many great ideas for economizing in a one-income home. (He drew the line when I suggested that I could pre-cut his dental floss optimally.) I love to sew, but I hate clutter. I love to hand sew because I spend so much time waiting on the sidelines for my kids at the playground, at the drop-in centre, at the kitchen table while playing with puzzles and refereeing their various scraps. I bring around my trusty Le Kit box that I was using in grade 5 filled with whatever project I am working on now. And now there are pleats. I love pleats. Join me on the adventure to change quilting!
