Introduction I was born in Seattle General Hospital in 1956. I am a school librarian, married to a cranky mailman. I have two sons, Troy and Teddy, who live next door. I carried mail for the United States Postal Service and worked as flight attendant for Continental Airlines and was a substitute teacher for nearly a decade each. I long to visit the Woolly Worm festival in Banner Elk North Carolina. After being turned down for 1,000 teaching jobs over ten years, I got hired at Elizabeth Blackwell elementary in Lake Washington School District and worked in the most beautiful school library in the world. Now I'm the librarian in Shoreline school district at Cascade K-8 alternative school. There is NEVER a dull moment at Cascade.
Interests Designing games to help people. I excel at goofing off. Figuring out a way to get hired as a charter flight fishing trip cook so I can stay in a wannigan in the middle of no where.
Favorite Movies Funny or romantic movies and action/adventure/suspense movies. Top five favorites: Hot Fuzz, The Wedding Singer, The School of Rock, Semi-Pro and all Harry Potters, Aliens, Indiana Jones and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. That's too many. Finding Nemo.
Favorite Music My husband and sons humming.
Favorite Books Lisa Kleypas & Janet Quinn-historical romance. Jackie Collins, JD Rowlings, Maeve Binchy, Laurie King, Alexander McCall-Smith, Sydney Sheldon, Colin Cotteral, Evanovich, Grisham, Grafton and other assorted books. I only like to read books in series and if there are less than twenty with the same characters I get really cranky. I LOVED "Success on the Step, the History of Kenmore Air Harbor" Bob Munro is my hero and will always be my number one hero. The way he landed on the Cascade glacier made my hair stand on end and the take off over the side of the Blue glacier made my heart pound!
