| Introduction | I am a retired Lutheran school teacher, serving four different Lutheran schools over 38 years. I now live in Altenburg, MO, located in Perry County, where the Saxon Immigration of 1838-1839 took place. I volunteer at the Lutheran Heritage Center & Museum here in Altenburg. I also am president of the Perry County Lutheran Historical Society, which operates this museum. I have the best wife in the whole wide world, and one of the true joys of my life is being a grandparent. My grandkids call me Grumps, and I love it. |
