Introduction | Me? Say to much or too little? How does one describe themself? By the roles that we play, how we think our friends and family view us, or by our curriculum vitae? How about what I have learned from my friends?? All I can tell you is what has shaped my character and view of the world the most (tranne il mio marito) has been the lessons that I have learned while living abroad. I beleive to truly find out who and what you are, you must pack up and move away--throw yourself into another country where you don't speak the language and where you've never been before... and then... see how you do. You'll either sink or you will swim, but then you'll know exactly what you are made of. |
Interests | my family, travel, anything Italian, German Beer, WORDS!, cultures of the world, cooking and entertaining, skiing, and sailing trips. What excites me most: sitting abroad, outside in a biergarten, cafe, or pub, simply watching the colors of life passing by. |
Favorite Movies | Bridget Jones, Notting Hill, Dead Poet's Society, Love Actually, The Red Violin, --movies about how people relate to each other or about the human experience. Pans Labyrinth is the best movie that I have seen in about two years. |
Favorite Music | What's on my IPOD recently played--Jason Mraz, Bob Marley, il Divo, Michael Buble, The Beatles, Norah Jones, Coldplay, Ne-yo, Mary J Blige, and the song from FIFA 2006...what a mix! |
Favorite Books | right now.. "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusack, "Memoirs of a Geisha, " and anything by Amy Tan, Maive Binchey or Rosamund Pilcher. I also believe that the entire Harry Potter series is absolutley brillant. |
