| Introduction | I have been fascinated by the history of Fazakerley, Walton and the surrounding area for as long as I can remember. As a 6 year old child I recall seeing a mysterious footpath, which was fenced off and abandoned. I asked why it was there and where did it go but no-one knew. I was hooked! In later years I found it on an old map, it was a footpath to a farm which had long since diappeared. I love to do my own research using maps, census and other local records and tie these in with what I can see around me today. I created this blog to record what I have discovered. |
