Introduction	Jump! has honestly been my mantra throughout most of my life, figuratively speaking. Seems I have always been jumping from one adventure to the next. So it is only fitting that life should send me a true love who I not only met on an airplane but who is embarking on his own journey to be a smoke jumper. I intend this blog to be my therapy as I support my love through his path to becoming one of the fire fighting elite but also as a place to document my own experiences as I navigate a new state, a new community, and a new direction in life. I'll throw in some fire tidbits here and there as well, and hopefully you can leave a bit wiser as to the ins and outs of wildland firefighting.
