About me

Introduction	I grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, where there was often not much to do on hot summer afternoons. We invented (or discovered) games to cure our boredom and fuel my competitive spirit. Now as a parent, I am dusting off some of them for my kids. I want to share them with others (and hear some of yours), since I still enjoy turning everything into a game and find that some of the most fun and stimulating ones are free! I am also grateful for having received a strong education throughout my life, from elementary through graduate school. To try giving back a little, I have volunteered as a tutor at local schools for over ten years, and I'm trying to share more broadly some of my experiences and learnings along that journey.
