Introduction I work with offenders reentering the community from prison, which is my passion. I help find them stable housing, food, clothing and the treatment they need to succeed. I work with various nonprofits in many communities to collect and distribute the information necessary to give these people a chance at success. I also write grants and program development. I spend many hours on researching programs across the country. A lot of what I do is volunteer work especially with the letters I receive from prison and emails I get from the offenders family and friends. There is never a fee when contacted directly by someone in need looking for a service. In this effort it is a start to help keep our communities safe, and prevent recidivism. We must not ignore the 95% of all convicted felons in prison that will return to our communities. First step towards that goal is housing.
