IntroductionQUILTING: My grandmother taught me to piece blocks when I was 9. I inherited two finished quilt tops from her in 1970. I prefer traditional quilt blocks and hand appliqué and own EQ6. I try to piece and quilt one project at a time. KNITTING: My mother gave me heirloom knitting needles when I was eight. I made my first sweater during middle school. In 2009 I took a class to learn to knit socks. I knit hats and mittens for a local aid group called Lighthouse. I try to knit one project at a time. SEWING: My sewing experience started in 6th grade home economics. I have a stash of skirt patterns and one particular piece of fabric in mind. I have learned so much from a former quilt teacher who has gone from quilting to art quilts to tailoring her own clothes. I try to sew one project at a time. SERGING: I am currently attending Serger Boot Camp.
