Introduction | I was born on the same day that Skylab fell. Coincidence? I don't think so. As a writer, my work has appeared in Elmont Life newspaper, and on the sadly defunct website, CentralBooking.com. I am currently a contributing writer to PinkRaygun.com, a webzine that focuses on geekery from a feminine perspective, and I've recently become a comic writer for PopMatters.com. I'm currently at work on several fiction projects, including a collection of short stories and a comic. As a geek, I love Star Trek, Lost, comics, and anything Joss Whedon ever touched. I have a tendency to develop fangirl *squee-ing* crushes on writers and am an aspiring fangbanger. Get Twitterpated with me: @teresajusino |
Interests | writing, music, theater, books, comics, movies, TV, and all things geek-related. |
Favorite Movies | (in no particular order) Gone With the Wind, Forrest Gump, Citizen Kane, American Beauty, Adaptation, Kill Bill, A Walk on the Moon, Schindler's List, Sliding Doors, Grindhouse and anything else starring Liev Schreiber, Ralph Fiennes (except for The Baby of Macon which SUCKS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!), Cate Blanchett, or Janet McTeer, or is directed by Quentin Tarrantino. Also, black & white movies...I'm a sucker for 1930s film. |
Favorite Music | EVERYTHING! I defy you to figure out the kind of person I am by searching through my iTunes! |
Favorite Books | 1984, Everything Is Illuminated, The Namesake, Interpreter of Maladies, How to Breathe Underwater, Mrs. Dalloway, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay....too many to name...also, much with the comic books. Read Brian K. Vaughan, Joss Whedon, and Neil Gaiman - stat. |
Whoops! Your tongue is now a magnet. Whatever will you use for silverware?
Um...plastic? This question is stupid.
