| Interests | learning languages, learning guitar, drumming, cooking, working with animals, dancing, singing, spiritual work, beach time, long walks with the dog (pretty much any dog...), hanging out with the cat, spending time with my lovely kids, horseriding, photography, and of course gardening :) |
| Favorite movies | don't really go to the movies and don't watch them on tv because i can't stand the adverts every 10 minutes, making a 90 minute movie last for two and a half hours sometimes - i got better things to do! however you can't go past Truly Madly Deeply for an all time classic romance, and The Muppet Christmas movie for all time classic feelgood. And of course the inimitable Topp Twins movie! |
| Favorite music | all sorts - something with a tune, and some words to sing to. old school motown, soul; roots & reggae; waiata; chanting; cheesy show tunes; and not really any drum and bass. Hearing the NZ national anthem sung in te reo always brings me to tears. |
| Favorite books | heaps, too many to mention. anything with a good plot and good conversation. I have in my time read the Bible in it's entirety. Janet Evanovich is a particular hero, and all mothers of strong willed, bright teenage daughters should read her immediately. |
