Introduction	My father gave me a disposable camera in the fourth grade for a field trip to Harrisburg, PA. Shortly after that, I found a camera bag in the dining room with an old 1968 Pentax and three lenses in it. The rest, thanks to my father's teaching and subtle encouragement, is history. I study photojournalism at Point Park University, and I have huge dreams to gallivant the globe for a major magazine (and get a 5D). The photographic arts has been, and is still continuing, to change my life. I would, however, have it no other way. So here's to my journey as a poor college student, working my way from semi-awkward girl on fire to totally badass prominent photojournalist.
