| Introduction | Okay….where to begin…… Well, first things first: I live in New Zealand, more precisely in Wellington – a beautiful city nestled amongst the surrounding hills. Yep, it’s often windy, but ‘They’ say “you can’t beat Wellington on a good day”, and ‘They’d’ be correct! Five years ago I began dating a man who spent 6 months of each year in London, a city I had always yearned to visit …… here was my opportunity! I’ve been a number of times now, and following each visit, upon my return, I expect to be shocked by how “behind the times” we are with our fashion here; and each time I have been shocked – not by our lack of fashion savvy, but by how wonderfully creative and “fashion-forward” Kiwis really are! (That’s one thing that “They” don’t mention enough – our burgeoning, innovative and “can do” fashion industry!) SO, I have decided to share some of the people I see around me, people that catch my eye – (and occasionally things that aren’t people yet still catch my eye) - to celebrate the fashionable (and sometimes not so fashionable, but still fabulous) citizens of this small, surprising and yes - stylish nation - New Zealand…………home!
