OccupationGreen Birder
LocationRomsley, Worcestershire, United Kingdom
IntroductionMy name is Gary Prescott, THE Biking Birder, a 69 year old retired school teacher with a passion for nature. Over the last 16 years I have been on seven Biking Birder adventures. To say thank you to the thousands of children I had the privilege of teaching over the decades, I am raising money for an amazing ACORNS Children's Hospice in my beloved Birmingham, ACORNS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE. To help nature, especially BIRDS, in Rwanda, I am fundraising for the fabulous environmental charity, PLANET BIRDSONG. This November I will be spending the month cycling in Rwanda! My aim now and in the future is to try to use my passion for people, nature and travel to make a difference. Inspired by Patch Adams, the incredible doctor in the USA, a film of whom was made starring Robin Williams, I hope to be able to bring joy and fun to everyone. PLEASE use the links above to make a donation. THANKS AND MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL.
