| Introduction | Hi. I'm a journalism professor at the University of Oklahoma. Until 2006, I was a professional journalist. I spent most of my career in the Washington Bureau of the Los Angeles Times, working as an assignment editor and national reporter. Classes I teach include State Capitol Reporting, In-Depth Reporting, Feature Writing and Multimedia Journalism. I'm also a senior fellow at the Institute for Justice and Journalism and director of IJJ's "Immigration in the Heartland" program. |
