| Introduction | Born and raised in Texas after getting a degree in biology I decided to move to Japan in 2005 to teach English. My original plan was to stay 2-3 years and then move back to the States, but you know how plans go! In May of 2011 I married a man who I think is a Texan trapped in a Japanese man`s body and in December of 2014 we had our first child. We are currently living in Kyoto for his job and I`m a stay at home mom trying to find balance in life between raising a toddler, making new friends, and getting our home to a state of "ok for visitors!" I decided to take up blogging again to have an outlet because I miss talking to other adults about things other than our children. That being said, a lot of what I write will probably be about how my daughter and I spend our days. |
