| Introduction | My introduction to massage was during my first year as full time single parent to my twin sons, who at that time were 4 or 5 years old. A girl friend of mine was studying massage. She recognized that I was a stressed out wreck and asked me to help her practice what she was learning by letting her massage me. All I had to do was lie down on a special little table and relax for an hour...AN HOUR! ...Do you have any idea what diabolical deeds 5 year old twin boys can conger up in an hour??...I definitely needed a massage but I was the last one to know it. I wasn't the greatest massage client at first. I resisted the opportunity to relax. Her skills overpowered me and soon I was very much enjoying a new found calmness. |
