Introduction For 25 years, Mike specialized in providing restructuring advisory services to the financial workout and bankruptcy community. He worked on numerous matters in the US and Europe from Arthur Andersen to KMart to Xerox. Mike started his career as a manager at Arthur Andersen and at Zolfo Cooper. In 1990, he co-founded Policano & Manzo which specialized in providing restructuring advisory services to institutions such as JP Morgan, Citibank, Wachovia, Bank of America, Met Life and Bankers Trust. Policano & Manzo was sold to FTI Consulting in 2000. From 2000-03, Mike was Co-Head of FTI's Restructuring Group. He opened their London Office in 2004. Mike is currently an adjunct professor at Villanova's EMBA program where he teaches Crisis Management. He also speaks at the Harvard Business School annually and at other MBA programs including Yale, Tulane, Columbia, Wisconsin and the London Business School. Mike also speaks on several other topics and conducts Leadership Workshops with Gail Steinel. Mike has a BS in Accounting with honors from Villanova. He also serves on advisory boards at Villanova's business school. He is a retired CPA and CIRA.
