| Introduction | A love of travel, meeting new people in strange countries and a writing habit, led me into the field of travel writing. My work can be found on various web sites, in the pages of the major consumer magazines and Inflight magazines as well as national and regional newspapers. I have won some Awards for my writing, have conducted workshops and given talks, but I'm still reading the great travel writers like Norman Lewis and Bill Bryson hoping to learn from them. My work appears in the national press, consumer magazines and the Inflights of the major airlines. I am a contracted Feature Writer on East Asia for the website www.suite101.com, (my site is http:// easiatravel.suite101.com/. I am also a contributer to www.theTravelEditor.com where my work, accompanied by my photographs, appears regularly. I have been guest speaker on many writing courses, and I conduct travel writing workshops for Malaga Workshops in both the UK and Spain.
