Introduction	I am a painter interested in alla prima sketches of the landscape and of still life subjects. I live with my husband and fellow painter, Phil Southern in the beautiful countryside near Algonquin Provincial Park and the Ottawa River Valley. I also work as a Registered Nurse at the local hospital. I am starting this blog as a place to share my paintings with friends, family, other artists, and those who share an interest in the arts.
