| Introduction | I consider myself an Artist, but I have to work to support my desire to paint. Need to pay for those paints somehow! I've had 3 years of college, but only the first year was I an Art Major, switched to Teaching, so I'm a self-taught artist. I'm 53 years old, single, have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. I'm new to blogging, not sure about this, but I was told that people who buy art want to know about the artists, to have a view into their lives. I don't know about that, but I'll just be honest and tell you what's going on and share my art and have fun with this. |
| Interests | Painting, drawing, collect depression glass, antiques, music, travel, Disney, comedy shows, waterfalls, gardening, cooking and baking, quilting, sewing, crocheting and sleeping, because I have the most comfortable bed, ever! |
| Favorite Movies | I like action movies. Jackie Chan, anything Marvel, fantasy such as Lord of the Rings |
| Favorite Music | Sorry, but I mostly only listen to the radio to and from work. I also turn on the radio while I'm doing the dishes. I'm all over the place here, I like a lot of different artists and styles of music. I appreciate good music, but I don't have any particular artist or genre that I would consider a favorite. |
| Favorite Books | I haven't read anything recently that comes to mind as a favorite. I used to be a voracious reader, but lately, since I'm into painting I've been reading about famous artists and the history of England, not intentional, but history plays a big part in how artists painted back in their time, so it's interesting. |
