| Introduction | I had a 35 year career in teaching in and around the Toronto area. I was a teacher, vice principa, principal and superintendent. Following my retirement I formed a consulting company. My early work was with the Covey Leadershiip Center in Provo, Utah. As a senior consultant I offered 7 Habits training across North Amerca. I am presently the president of two companies. The North Star Centre works with business and industry in the area of action based planning. I have an extensive client list ranging from large organizations such as Magna and Air Canada to Hockey Canada. My second company is Canadian Effective Schools. CES has a focus on school based planning. I have coauthored two books. "Harbors of Hope" is a study of how schools create success for students by focusing on success for all students. The second book, "Getting By or Getting Better," shares the 7 lessons that individuals and organizations must learn if they want to create success and satisfaction. Recently, I have partnered with Solution Tree Canada to create the Hulley Centre. |
