| Introduction | I am Don Fougere, and I am a Haitian. I left my country in 1996 to reside in New York City. Because New York was so cold and life was so fast, I moved to New Orleans. I spent nine years in the Big Easy. During this time, I did my undergraduate studies at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (B.A. in Christian Ministry). One month before Katrina hit the city, I moved to Fort Worth Texas to start with an MDiv at South Western Theological Seminary and an M.A in Modern Languages with concentration in French at UT at Arlington. My ultimate goal is to do a Ph.D. in French linguistic. Once I finish with my studies, I would like to go back to my country, so I can contribute to its development. |
