| Introduction | I operate a simple, low-power amateur radio station: Callsign M6RDP. I suffer a lot with quite acute anxiety and depression, so a hobby like HAM radio is a great, relaxing way to spend my time. It never fails to amaze me that my 5W or 10W signal can travel up into space at the speed of light and bounce back to earth hundreds or even thousands of miles away. Since being ill I have discovered a new-found joy and appreciation of the simple, everyday things and moments in life and this has kind of led to an interest in Buddhism and Buddhist Meditation. |
