Introduction	I'm in the Foreign Service currently serving in Lahore, Pakistan. My first tour in Honduras was terrific, even with the political crisis we had to deal with. Next Muscat, Oman was like a 2 year vacation...I love that place! Lahore is my final tour and retirment will happen, whether I like it or not, on June 30, 2014. What to do next? I have a few irons in the fire because I don't intend to park myself in a rocking chair any time soon! Why did I call my blog Red Licorice and Jujubes? Well, those were my 2 favorite candies as a kid and even now I still love them. Some things never change...and others just get better with time.
Interests	I love the Dallas Mavericks, I love driving in the country with my camera, I love fresh squeezed lemonade in the summer, marshmellows in my hot chocolate in the winter, A gorgeous sunset, a faithful man.
Favorite movies	To Kill A Mockingbird, Some Like It Hot, Finding Nemo, Schindler's List, Silverado
Favorite books	"It's Always Something" by Gilda Radner (if you want to cry and laugh at the same time, read this book!)
