| Introduction | I am a first grade teacher, and can honestly say that I LOVE what I do. I love learning! One of my college professors told us that we are ‘Lifelong Learners’, and ever since have taken that truly to heart! It is who I have become as a teacher. We are never too old to learn something new, and I LOVE that thought! I love trying out new things in my classroom and finding what works best for my kiddos. I have to say that it is the greatest feeling to know that you get to do something that you are truly passionate about each day! Besides teaching, I also have an AMAZING family. My husband is my best friend, and we enjoy doing just about anything together. We have two sweet dogs, that we very much enjoy spending time with, especially at the lake and on walks. My hope for this blog is that I will be able to communicate with more families and involve them even more in our classroom, as well as, meet other teachers to share ideas with! |
