| Introduction | I'm 23 years old and just finished my first year of an MA program at the University of Wyoming. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2015 with a BA in English and a BA in International Affairs with a minor in Anthropology. I recently got married (Sept. 2015), and my husband and I live in Laramie, WY. I am a feminist and a lover of people, passionate about humanity, social justice, and equality. While the world is becoming smaller and smaller due to globalization, it seems like we're becoming more and more divided due to superficial reasons such as race, religion, and nationality. I fully intend to follow my dreams and continue striving to better myself and others. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Make a career of humanity, commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in," and that is what I intend to do. |
