Introduction I have no idea what to put here. Let's see. Evangelical Christian, Libertianesque, intellectual, single, happy for the most part. I have unusual friends, like John Cowart (www.cowart.info). I'm a theologian by education, also a Registered Nurse --I work in Critical Care, I'm a printer by trade and made my living in the printing trade for about 30 years. I taught Classical Greek one year. When I was young I trained as a musician with principal instrument being classical voice. I have seven adopted sons, all but one is grown, four granddaughters, one of whom died in 2006 of ovarian cancer at age 17, and a new great-granddaughter, and I'm an all-round great guy! (Some people disagree with this last assessment.)
Interests kibbitzing, intelligent conversation, volunteer counseling with addicts, music, language, theology, philosophy, political science, science, medicine, history, cooking, gardening, camping, "the old ways" (lost skills of premodern living), southern heritage.

If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?

The stuff you make shrimp bait balls with. Well, some people who don't know how to shrimp make beautiful sculptures out of it.
