| Introduction | Journalism wasn't my first career. Before that I was in technology marketing and copywriting, which is how I got to Silicon Valley more than 30 years ago. The dot-com bust forced me to find honest work so I became a journalist and began writing for the Santa Clara Weekly on community issues, events, people and history. My technology articles have appeared in Bay Area BusinessWoman, The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal , Silicon Valley BizInk (which stiffed me for $200), Broadcast Engineering, and Voxilla.com. |
