| Introduction | I have been married to my just-outta-high-school-sweetheart, the same amazing warrior of a man, for the last 16 years. I am mother to Sarah, Sam and Selah (who we will bring home from China later this year) and am a strong advocate for orphans and children living in brokenness and poverty, particularly those with with special needs. I enjoy writing, reading, listening to music of all sorts, spending time with my family, being outdoors and skipping small talk. I am big on humor and enjoy laughing and celebrating life. I try to find joy in the little things because it's the little things that make life what it is. And above anything, I put Jesus because He has saved me and changed my heart through the gift of His love. Because of Him, I am a new person and everything I am, everything I have, everything I will do that is of any worth or value, is all because of what He has done for me. |

| Favorite music | I enjoy a wide range of music (except for rap) and love listening to a variety of different styles - anything that moves me. And I love it LOUD!!!! |
| Favorite books | Bible (I believe in Absolute Truth), Crazy Love, Choosing to See, The Princess Bride, Redeeming Love, and way too many others to list. I'm an AVID reader and normally have at least 3 books going at any given time. |
