| Introduction | Why "Maggies"? For those of you who know my birth name you may be wondering why my website and blog are called "Maggie's...". Well, when I was thinking about company names I wanted to choose something personally meaningful. I chose "Maggie" because it's what my Dad has called me since I can remember and what my Mom's Dad called her when she was little. Awww, I know...so cute :D. So there you have it, a family nickname transformed! Why baking? I grew up on home cooked meals and decadently delicious desserts. I had my first taste of chocolate at 9 months, won my first blue ribbon at my elementary school bake sale, and willingly licked the spoons clean when my Mom made cookies. However, it wasn't until about 6 years ago when I realized that not only did I love eating sweets but I loved to bake them. I've got the gadgets and the passion and love sharing my creations with anyone willing to eat them! |
