Introduction	My name is Genya and I am the illustrator behind StylishGoose.com. I started this blog because I wanted a space to display my illustrations and also depict my favorite fashion styles. The images on this site are my original illustrations of designer collections that I admire and styles worn by people that inspire me. Although I was drawing for as long as I can remember, I first started doing fashion illustrations when I was 9. I began by tracing women in magazines and then dressing them up in my own designs. Around the same time I also attempted to start my own ‘fashion company’. I offered girls from the playground a choice of any of my designs to be made into Barbie outfits, for only $1!!! Not knowing how to sew, I 'contracted' my grandma to complete the task. Of course, as soon as she found out the details of my endeavor, the project came to an end. Today, my day job is in the technology field (i am an engineer by training), but fashion drawing remains a big part of my life. I use traditional media such as markers and pens, as well as Wacom Intuos tablet and Corel Painter 11 software. Please enjoy! x Genya
