| Introduction | I was born a baby-boomer way before the name was invented. I lived through the sixties as a teenager and surpassed my educational expectations when I graduated as a teacher. I have loved being a mum for thirty-four years and somehow manage to balance my life sanely most of the time. In quieter and rarer moments, I enjoy slipping into the world of fiction writing. Mostly romance. I'm still experimenting with different genres really. I was a winner in a local literary competition in 2007-2008 and loved chatting to other writers. I am a member of Writing Qld and have lots to learn. |
| Interests | Writing, computer training, my church interests, travel and especially my family. |
| Favorite movies | Not many modern ones, really. I hate swearing and I hate disrespect and as too many movies today fit into these catagories, I don't go to the pictures much. I want to be entertained and have a laugh or a cry. Last one was My Sister's Keeper because I loved the book so much, and that was well done. On Golden Ponds was lovely too. |
| Favorite music | Anything I can sing with while I work. I like the Seekers songs, John Denver, Yesterday (Beetles), Celtic Woman, and I love the new CD from Andrea Bocelli entitled "Incadto". So, a mixture of genres. I dislike noise and yelling. |
| Favorite books | Mine, of course. Anna Jacobs OUR LIZZIE Jodi Picoult Keeping Faith Steven Carroll The Time We Have Taken Chen Da Sounds of the River Jodi Picoult My Sister’s Keeper Kate Atkinson When Will There Be Good News Jodi Picoult Change of Heart Tim Winton Breath |
