| Introduction | I am an athlete extraordinaire who loves the outdoors, mountains, beaches and seas; anything that is inspiring to the human eye. I was a 3 sport standout in high school (volleyball, basketball, softball) and earned an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Florida State University. I received a B.S. in Physical Education (Sports Management) in 1986 and came to Colorado Springs to compete for 9 years as a resident athlete at the U.S.Olympic Training Center. As a member of the U.S. Women's Team Handball Team, I competed in two Olympic Games, Seoul, Korea (1988) and Barcelona, Spain (1992), until retiring in 1994. Since then I have been freelancing as a personal trainer in various fitness centers, private studios and/or private homes, amassing over 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry. In addition to personal training, I have been working as a Wildland Firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service for the past 4 seasons. My latest love in endeavors is dabbling in scribing on the internet and exploring the wonders of the world. |
