| Introduction | I’m a mum of 4 children under 8. I love motherhood and all of the challenges it brings(and believe me there are a lot of them!) My husband and I moved to a small rural village about 9 years ago as we thought it would be a great place to bring up any future children we might have and it also gave us lots of space which are just getting around to taming. In between looking after my little darlings we have several hens, a rooster, some ducks, a dog, a cat & a rabbit to keep us busy. I love cooking for my children and my husband. Of course it can be quite a challenge at times as all of my children have gone through different stages where they won’t eat particular things - or at times anything at all! I tend to cook a lot of traditional dishes for my family but I’m always looking for new dishes that my family will enjoy. For the most part however, my passion is baking something which I absolutely loved doing with my mum and siblings when I was growing up and it is something that my children seem to enjoy doing too - although I have to be in the right mental state for this as it can be a hazardous task - particularly when they all decide to join in!
