| Favorite books | Oh god. Do you really want to know all my favourite books? This could take a while... Anything by Katherine Kerr, Anne Rice, Anne McCaffery, Robin Hobb, Terry Brooks, Tamora Pierce, P.G. Wodehouse, Tad Williams, David Gemmell, Kelly Armstrong, Diana Wynne Jones, Terry Pratchett, J.R.R. Tolkien, Jane Austin, there are more I can't think of right now. Quite partial to Christopher Paolini (Eragon etc) and K.A. Applegate's 'Animorphs' (what can I say, I loved them as a 10 yr old) and I have a warm fuzzy place in my heart for the book that got me into interesting facts: Patrick Moore's 'Guide to the Planets'. On to poetry: anything by Roger McGough (who doesn't love this guy?!), Sophie Hannah, Simon Armitage, Chaucer (where would we be without him?), Wordsworth, Elizabeth Jennings, Matthew Francis, the occational spot of Ted Hughes and my all time favourite T.S. Elliot. |
