| Introduction | Hello world! I am a twenty-something (20-late) living near Ft. Worth, and trying to live this thing called life. I'm married to a blonde cutie, and we have three furry babies to our name: Chihuahua pup Bianca Dee, Calico cat delight Penelope "Peanut Butter" Marbles Marie, and mischievous mini cat Mimsy Maru Nermil (these are their full God given names :-)). I have recently graduated college (yay!) to become an Elementary teacher, and I can't wait to have a classroom of my own! I know God has put me here to make a difference in children's lives, and help them to have a better future. I desire to work in Kinder or 1st grade so desperately, and I know God sees the desires of my heart, so I'm claiming in his name that I will have the PERFECT classroom for me this upcoming school year. This job will open so many doors for my husband and I, and I can't wait to see the blessings that God has in store for us! |
| Interests | I LOVE to read! I also love spending time with my hunny buns, and family and friends. I enjoy movies, and laying on the couch all day watching TV shows for seasons at a time (lame, I know). Still, I get to do it with my husband, and that makes it fun to me! |
| Favorite movies | Jaws. Enough said. |
| Favorite music | A little bit of everything...Dashboard Confessional, Fall Out Boy, The Beatles, Britney Spears, praise and worship music, Gavin Degraw, Beat-her-down Brown...it's all over the place! Depends on my mood I think. |
| Favorite books | There are SO many! I'm currently reading the third book in the Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones), Heaven Is For Real, Fifty Shades Darker (gasp! Yes, I read them.), Battle Royale, my prayer book and the Bible. I like to read different books at once. I'm thinking about adding The Stand to my current rotation, then Alice in Wonderland when I finish something. I love, LOVE the Twilight and Hunger Game series, as well as Dexter and True Blood. Anything by Tess Gerritson, James Patterson, and Dan Brown are books I'll usually read, and if you say it's worth my time, I'll at least try it! Oh, don't forget the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo; dark, but awesome! I could keep going, but I'm going to make myself stop here. <3 |
